Our next tournament is our second Bloodbowl event on Sunday 19th September 2010.

Below are the key points from the rules pack but for full details of the format, house rules and the timetable for the day please refer to the rules pack itself.

Tournament Format

Each player will play matches over the course of the day. Opponents will be drawn at random for the first round (we will do our best to avoid your playing someone from your own club in the first round, if that's possible). The second and third round draws are based on the results from the previous rounds with the better players being paired against each other.

Choosing your team

Each player must pick a Competition Rules Pack* team worth no more than 1,100,000 gold crowns. The team must be fully painted.

  • No star players are allowed.
  • No inducements may be purchased except that halflings may hire a master chef on their roster and goblin teams may take up to 3 bribes. If you are in any doubt about whether something is legal, please email tournament organiser Emrys Hopkins at bb@aftermath-tournament.co.uk for clarification before submitting your team.
  • Non-Games Workshop Miniatures are allowed as long as it's clear what type of player each figure represents.

    Special Features

As long as three or more players enter a qualifying team there will be an Underdog Cup awarded to the highest placed goblin, halfling, ogre or vampire team (based on their results alone).

Keep track of your players' achievements as we will be awarding the player with the most SPP over the course of the day with the coveted Tournament MVP certificate. Will one of your players break last year's record of 11 SPP over 3 games?

Secret weapons are fun! fun!! fun!!! Don't miss the return of the S.Ch.Wi.N.G. Award for the team causing the most pain by fouls, crowd surfing or secret weapons.

For details of all the awards we'll be, um, awarding please see the rules pack.

Who are we?

Aftermath Gaming Club meets on Tuesday evenings between 7 and 11pm (although you'll find keen members here from 6:30 or so, eating chips, putting the world to rights and wishing they'd not had those chips after all). If you're interested in coming along to see us in our natural habitat please contact club secretary Emrys Hopkins (the terms of our hire mean that only members and invited guests can attend meetings).

The club is open to members aged 18 and over and our members include players of WFB, 40K, Bloodbowl, Warmachine, Historical (from Dark Ages through to WWII), Wings of War, Legends of the Old West and much, much more. If this sounds interesting, please get in touch or take a look at our club website.
